A Message to Our Families Regarding COVID-19:

We are taking the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak very seriously, as our top priority is keeping the families we serve and our staff members safe. Our business is still operating as usual, but under mitigation guidelines from the Governor, CDC and recommendations from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).We are doing everything we can to keep our facility and equipment clean and sanitized.

We are following the CDC guidelines on gatherings, and this includes those directly related to any funerals, visitations, or graveside services.

Funerals are limited to no more than 250 guests inside and 500 guest outside; this does not include funeral home staff, the clergy/celebrant or cemetery staff.  Services should be held at the gravesite whenever possible; however, the nature of the disposition, such as cremation, may mean a service in the funeral home is more appropriate.

All gatherings of more then (250 inside) should be canceled, and/or only conducted with a limit of two hundred and fifty (250) or less people. Viewings will only be conducted on bodies that have been embalmed and will only be permitted with two hundred and fifity (250) or less people. Graveside services can be conducted with (500) or less people. Masks/protective face coverings and social distancing is still recommended for those who have not been vaccinated. This information is subject to change per recommendations by the Government and the CDC.

These implemented directives are to comply with current recommendations by the Government and the CDC. Indeed, our compliance with these directives is to keep your families safe, as well as the staff at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home.

Please reach out to the directors at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home for specific questions regarding your loved ones.

Sincerely yours,
